Apple 用1.2 B 買了Siri，有否給Computer Science 人一點幻想？ 很多電腦技術，尤其 XXXX-recognition，其實都很多發展空間； 大學有行政限制，商業又有營運限制，所以突破還待賢人出。 常常覺得，若有閒情放到一兩年時間，專心一個技術，其實做到突破不是很難。 有冇人有類似想法呢？

one of the good thing Mac can do, is can type these symbol very easily & directly by keyboard alone: ≤≥≠±÷ ∞™€¢£ (for ≤≥≠÷, the mac’s wonder-script: AppleScript, use them as operators in the programming language) and the most special symbol – i wonder what is the unicode of that 🙂 (browser can’t show, those with mac try: option + shift + K)

今天有個故事。最近工作上都在請人。今天上午十點半看resume，約了一點interview；interview 完和同事討論了一會，再想清楚，三點就俾個offer個男孩。 這使我感懷，想起自己年少時，在funmobile的工。星期三約見，星期四見工，星期四即晚有offer，星期五已是第一天返工。當年約我的ivor，約我見工時我在茶餐廳，順手拿了茶餐廳的紙寫電話地址，那張紙還在哩。 回想，很多謝ivor當年給我這個太懶醒的小男孩機會、信任和支持；和途中很多人的鼓勵和同行，這些回望，都是無價：一生人只有一次。
